We keep a record of email and any other correspondence between us regarding your purchase or enquiry or any matter that may arise between you and Local Gems and/ or one of our experience providers.

We collect information that you provide if you request information from us, if you sign up for our newsletters or take part in surveys, competitions and provide reviews. We will only use your personal information for processing your enquiry or purchase from the Local Gems website. This will include passing your details to our experience providers as well as for administration.

Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology is used for protection of information in transit for sensitive transactions such as payments. We use a third party provider for payments processing (e.g. Paypal and Worldpay). We do not store any payment card information in our Local Gems records – this is all managed remotely by the payment processing company. Please refer to their privacy policy and contact them directly for further information about their systems.

Our employees, partners, experience providers and contracted service providers are given access to personal information only as is required to do their specific job for Local Gems.
